    Philanthropy

Delta Epsilon Psi Fraternity Inc. is a fraternal organization devoted to establishing a positive impact on society by being passionate philanthropists. Since our humble beginning in 1998, we as South Asian leaders have maintained a positive reputation with unyielding results in every task that we undertake. As the largest South Asian fraternity in the nation, our common goal has always been to strengthen and establish a strong presence in our local communities while developing a strong national image as dedicated servants to our community.

However, as professionals and students, doing what is essential has never been our strong suite. We are men of action and by exposing ourselves to various aspects of community life and service, we have come to encompass the ideology of service through leadership and excellence. Through our proactive approach to service we have spread the idea that every action we take not only affects ourselves, but also those around us.

    Bone Marrow Drive

Be the Match Foundation aids in the treatment of many debilitating diseases that numerous people in our world society have. The registry does this by collecting tissue samples to be matched through DNA analysis. It provides people with the unique opportunity to help a patient by donating bone marrow or umbilical cord blood. Thousands of patients with leukemia and other life-threatening diseases depend on the Be The Match Registry to find a match, and it is a fact that seventy percent of individuals have a hard time finding a match in their own families.

    Local Efforts

    Who's Got Game:

Who's Got Game is one of the most competitive and purpose oriented-basketball tournaments across the nation. Additionally, the event has also allowed Delta Epsilon Psi to bring a diverse population of students together to play a nationally accepted sport, while promoting our primary philanthropic cause. Each year the brothers of Delta Epsilon Psi Fraternity, Inc. host this event with the initiative to raise funding for and awareness of Juvenile Diabetes (Type 1 Diabetes).

This condition afflicts over 150 million people worldwide annually. Therefore, all proceeds from Who's Got Game are donated directly to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation has established a trusting relationship with Delta Epsilon Psi, allowing for funds from Who's Got Game to be donated to JDRF in the highest confidence that they will be stretched to their furthest extent to support Juvenile Diabetes.

This event is hosted my Alpha Gamma Colony of Delta Epsilon Psi, every Fall semester for each year!

    Dodging Diabetes

Dodging Diabetes is a dodge-ball tournament created with the purpose of accumulating funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Since its creation in the spring of 2009 at Texas Tech University, the tournament has served as an outlet for many college students to re-live the fun games of recess that they once used to experience as young children while supporting JDRF.

Since its creation, Dodging Diabetes has expanded to over 20 different college campuses in the nation. The event has raised funds close to $10,000, and its charitable premise has generated a retro sense of fun among today’s college students. In the process of supporting JDRF in the fight against Type 1 Diabetes, Dodging Diabetes has taken a special place in the philanthropy of Delta Epsilon Psi as one of its marquee service events.

This event is hosted my Alpha Gamma Colony of Delta Epsilon Psi, every Srping semester for each year!
